Hi, I am a ceramic artist from the US on a 1 year sabbatical tour with my husband and three year old son. We have been to India multiple times and have meet some village potters. I would like to learn more about the studio potter scene in Mumbai! I will be in Northern India from Feb 1st to May 15th 2012. The recent Ceramics monthly article on Pandit Pottery caught my interest -- and I am interested in the upcoming arts festival. Any information on what studio to visit, or workshop to participate in would be appreciated!

my god! i went to exactly this root bridge and the experience was equivalent to the grandness in ladakh. nothing i have experienced, compares to this. anyone coming to india, must visit n yeah! indians; u have to be here to experience living for a even a short few moments: the oneness with nature.

Anjani, while doing a ppp for the history of ceramics for my 12 year old students last year i stumbled on this FABULOUS website, part of the met museum of art called the Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/
It is a work of art in itself.....so beautifully organised and documented.
I found scads of ceramic art photos and info
Perhaps you would like to include a link to it on ceramic sometimes?
